History Channel features a wide range of programming, from scripted dramas, to series showcasing science, inventions, and technology throughout the years. History Channel’s programming lineup includes informative period pieces, to dramatic reenactments. Enjoy content that spans the ages. But before you can go ahead and watch History TV from your favorite streaming device, you’ll first need to get a history channel activation code using history.com/activate website and follow series of instructions.

Where to get history channel register code?

 

On any browser (desktop or mobile), navigate to the activation page of history.com/activate. Once inside, select your streaming device from the list and wait until the page redirects you to a prompt her you can insert the activation code that you previously obtained.

What TV Providers Support the History App?

 

Please note that you need to have a TV package that includes HISTORY in your TV lineup with your provider to unlock episodes. (Packages that include internet or phone service only will not be authorized for viewing in our apps and website.)

 

To unlock episodes, you can sign in with your TV package from any of the following providers:

 

  1. Local Cable: Xfinity, Cox, Spectrum, Verizon Fios or your local cable provider
  2. Satellite: Dish and DIRECTV
  3. Streaming Live TV Services: DIRECTV Stream, Hulu + Live TV, Philo, and Vidgo

 

Sling TV and Frndly TV also provide budget-friendly access to network content and live TV, but they cannot be used to sign in to our apps and website at this time.
